Nathan Hammond

Strategic Partner
Nathan Hammond is an American who grew up in Austria and now lives in Pennsylvania, USA. He is married with 7 kids (3 adopted from Ukraine) and has lived on 4 continents. He was a high school teacher for 20 years and taught part time for 3 universities. He started two Edtech businesses in the 2010s. Eduspire provides graduate-level courses to nearly 20k teachers (since inception) through a local university partnership, and the other business provided software to schools. He sold the software company in 2022 when they had over 3 million users, which allowed him to “retire” early.

Since then he has made 7 trips to Ukraine to support pastor friends and bring supplies when able. In Ukraine he has also helped stabilize a startup pyrolysis enterprise that converts plastic waste into oil and has a very strong missional vision (Clean Soul Clean City).

In 2024 he started HolyGoats with 3 goat businesses in remote bush counties of Kenya, co-managing each location with clusters of about 10 bush pastors growing each to a size of 1,500 goats. The vision is to grow these self-sustaining and self-replicating businesses to 100 locations, helping to lift communities economically, supporting 1,000 bush pastors, and helping to start more churches deeper into the bush.

During this time he also became a strategic partner in Davison Water Drilling helping them expand. Through his friendship with Marlon an opportunity arose to help get Washlabs off the ground.
