- Smart Infrastructure and IoT Monitoring: We embed Internet of Things (IoT) sensors into water systems to provide real-time, continuous monitoring of critical parameters like water flow, system pressure, pump status, and water quality. As implemented in our Samburu and Climate-SMART WASH projects, this technology provides an immediate, live view of system health, drastically reducing downtime and enabling rapid response to operational issues.
- Actionable Data Analytics and Dashboards: Raw data is only useful when it becomes actionable insight. We develop customized decision-support dashboards that visualize complex data in an intuitive format. These tools empower water utility managers and community operators to track performance, analyze usage patterns, predict maintenance needs, and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency
- Digital Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning M&E: We leverage a suite of digital tools to conduct robust and efficient M&E. Using platforms like mWater and advanced GIS mapping, we support our partners in tracking project impact, managing WASH assets, and gathering user feedback. Our work with organizations like Water.org demonstrates our capacity to manage large-scale digital surveys and provide the high-quality, verifiable data needed for rigorous program evaluation.
- Technology for Innovative Finance: Our technology stack is a key enabler of innovative financing models. We design and implement the sophisticated Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) systems required for high-integrity carbon credit projects, ensuring compliance with standards like Gold Standard. Furthermore, we develop strategies for data monetization, creating new, sustainable revenue streams from aggregated, anonymized IoT data insights to support the long-term financial health of WASH services.
